The shooting of the pilot series of the “Horizon” project took place in the Primorsky Region in April 2018. The project was directed by Oleg Trofim, the main roles were played by Ilya Malanin, Irina Starshenbaum and Alexey Kravchenko.
The premiere of the series, filmed in Primorye, took place on the TV channel STS
The series “Belovodie. The Mystery of the Lost Country ” was released on the STS channel in June of this year. Part of the filming of the series took place in the summer of 2013 in Vladivostok.
The director of the series was Yevgeny Bedarev. The main role was played by popular Russian actor Alexander Petrov.

Filming opportunities in Russia presented in Japan
The fifteenth International Film Market TIFFCOM - Marketplace for Film & TV in Asia, Affiliated market of the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), was completed in Japan Content Showcase 2018 in Japan's capital Tokyo. This year, the film market gathered a record number of participants from 25 countries. The Location Pavilion was presented at the Film Market, in which locations and opportunities for filming of three countries - Malta, Kosovo and Russia (Primorsky Region) - were presented.
Shooting commercials for the Korean airline took place in Primorye
The television company «SOAR Production», together with the Korean company «Hamburger Pictures», and with the assistance of the Primorye Film Commission, conducted a commercial video shoot for the Korean airline «Air Philip» in Primorye. The video will be timed to the opening of the new direction of the airline from Seoul to Vladivostok.
Primorye Film Commission presented opportunities for filming in Russia at the International Film Forum in Busan
Primorye Film Commission took part in the Film Forum 2018 LINK OF CINE-ASIA in Busan, and presented the possibilities of filming in Russia at the Rising ASIA session. Rising ASIA annually presents unique filming locations, infrastructure, personnel, equipment and other capabilities in three Asian regions. In 2018, they were Russia (Primorsky Region), Cambodia and Myanmar.
A travel documentary series «Mountain Odyssey» was filmed in Primorye
«Mountain Odyssey» is a travel documentary series produced by Root Communications with the grant from Korea Radio Promotion Association regarding UHD production. It's a 12 episodes series with each episode being 50 minutes long. The film crew is traveling via Siberian Express Train (starting from Vladivostok and arriving at Moscow) and summit mountains and visit various landmarks along the way.
Primorye from a bird's-eye view
The shooting of the documentary «Russia from a bird's-eye view» took place in the Primorsky Region. Filming was conducted by the «Red Square» film company commissioned by Channel One, with the support of the Russian Geographical Society and the Primorye Film Commission.
