The film crew of the new feature film under the working title "Dance Line" arrived in Vladivostok from Moscow. At the weekend, the locations scouting and a large-scale casting of dancers for the film were held.
"Dance Line" is a feature musical film. The main character is Yana, a young ambitious dancer who leaves her dance teacher Arthur to open her school. Between the old and the new school begins competition, complicated by the fact that Arthur's daughter begins to engage with competitors, turning the conflict into a family one.
The scene of the film is Vladivostok, with its seascapes and bridges. The main film sets in the city will be: Tsesarevich Embankment, Far Eastern Federal University, the central square of Vladivostok, Millionka's yards, Tokarevsky lighthouse.
The director of the film will be the debutant Anastasia Pugovkina, a graduate of the director's studio of the Film School Alexander Mitta. Her film "Six Tips from Twiggy" this year was presented at the "Shorter" Film Festival in Kaliningrad. The author of the script is Vladimir Okhremenko, known for his fantastic stories, the cinematographer is Valery Osmakov.
For several days, the film crew held in Primorsky Region, castings of the actors of the Primorsky theaters were held, and the first teaser of the film was shot, in which the main choreographer of the project and the performer, Christina Mazur, danced at the background of the landmark places of Vladivostok.
Also there was a meeting of film producers with Primorsky specialists who will take part in the filming.
The main dance partner of the project is the Dance School "Floors". The final scene of the film will collect in the frame more than three hundred dancers from Primorye.
The organizer of filming in Primorsky Region will be Primorye Film Commission. The main tasks of the film commission are the promotion of the region through cinema, increasing the tourist attractiveness of Primorye, organizing the filming process on the territory of the region, and involving local specialists in the filming.
