Filming of the

In July and September, Vladivostok hosted the shooting of a new short film by the Yekaterinburg film company "Red Pepper Film" "Ink Sea", directed by Ivan Sosnin.

In Vladivostok, the shooting took place in the commercial sea port, on the FESCO ship "Navarin", in one of the oldest buildings in the city on Admiral Fokin Street, on Egersheld district, in the Churkin area, Vladivostok railway station, in the lobby of the “Equator hotel”. Several roles in the film were performed by actors of the Primorsky theaters. The Primorye Film Commission assisted in organizing filming in Vladivostok.

The film "Ink Sea" tells the story of a young sailor (actor Vladimir Sarapultsev), who wrote letters to his father, whom he had never seen, for many years. Finally, after returning from the next voyage, the main character receives a letter in reply. From whom it is, viewers will find out by watching the film. One of the roles in the film was played by the famous Russian actor Vladimir Vdovichenkov.

The films of the young Yekaterinburg director Ivan Sosnin are distinguished by the sincerity, simplicity and touching of the stories shown in them. This year, residents of Vladivostok and the Primorsky Region saw several films of the director at the Street Cinema film festival held at the end of September.
