On August 8, 2017, the Foreign Ministry’s specialized website for issuing e-visas to foreign citizens to visit the free port of Vladivostok will be launched at http://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru/

An e-visa is issued free of charge to a foreign citizen who submits an electronic application on the above-mentioned website no later than four calendar days before the expected date of entry, with a digital photo attached. No other documents are required.

Electronic visas are valid for 30 days with an authorized period of stay in the Russian Federation up to eight days from the date of entry.

Electronic visas are valid to enter and leave the Russian Federation only through checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation located at the free port of Vladivostok: the Vladivostok (Knevichi) air checkpoint and the Vladivostok maritime checkpoint in the Primorsky Region. Other checkpoints of the free port of Vladivostok will be opened for the entry of foreign citizens with e-visas gradually as they become equipped with appropriate software and hardware.

Citizens of the following foreign countries can obtain a single business, humanitarian or tourist e-visa, the list of which is approved by Russian Government Directive No. 692-r of April 14, 2017:

Algeria, Bahrain, Brunei, India, Iran, Qatar, People's Republic of China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Morocco, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, Turkey, Japan.

Foreign citizens who arrive in Russia with e-visas have the right to move freely only within the constituent entity of the Russian Federation they entered. For now foreign citizens with e-visas can reside and move about only within the Primorye Territory.
