On June 23, within the framework of the forum, the conference "Development of Regional Film Production. Experience of work of film commissions in Russia " was held.

 The head of the Primorye Film Commission Dmitry Shevtsov shared his experience with colleagues from all over Russia in the creation and successful work of the Film Commission in Primorsky Region. This year the film commission supports the production of three films of Russian film companies, conducts events to support local filmmakers in the educational program. Recall, the Primorye Film Commission is the first state film commission established on the territory of the Russian Federation.

 The conference was attended by: Vadim Potapov, Head of the Financial and Production Department of the Cinema Foundation (Moscow), Anna Krutova, Member of the Board of the Association of Film and Television Producers (Moscow), Dmitry Generalov, ANO "Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects" (Moscow) , Representatives of the Film Commissions of Ulyanovsk, Kaliningrad, Irkutsk Region, Perm and Krasnoyarsk Territories.

 The main goal of film commissions all over the world is to promote their country or region by means of attracting film crews and developing film production. Filming in the Primorsky Region increases its recognition, tourism attractiveness, attracts investments into the regional budget. Filming is an additional positive information opportunity for the appearance of the edge in the news agencies' tapes, it is an additional workplace, a real practice for local specialists in the field of cinema, and the development of the regional film production.

Now in Vladivostok, 2-3 films are shot every year, the task of the Film Commission is to increase this number to 4-5 projects a year. And also to support local cinematographers. To achieve this goal, the Primorye Film Commission has organized a program of Pitching projects, the first of which will be held on June 29.
